Hilburn International College is a place where children enjoy a happy, secure and stable learning environment, which forms the basis for future development. We have introduced a broad, practical curriculum. Emphasis is placed on reading, writing and the understanding of mathematical concepts, delivered through challenging activities and imaginative play. Class teachers up to Grade three teach Science, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, and Mathematics. Other subjects, including English Language, Tamil, Sinhala, Music, Information Communication Technology (ICT). Swimming and Dancing are taught by subject specialists. Throughout the school great care is taken to ensure the emotional as well as the academic well-being of each child. Small class sizes allow for a significant degree of individual attention. Classroom teachers are supported by trained classroom assistants. --
