Subjects / courses and educational qualifications

Our main objective is to reduce drowning and water related accidents. Up to date our recorded rescues mark nearly 4000 lives saved. We have a proud record of training nearly one million members of public including school children, armed forces and police force, all free of charge. National Body for Life Saving and Water Safety. An Approved Charity Registered (ACT/9/87/20) Under Sec 31 (9) of the Inland Revenue Act. The Life Saving Association of Sri Lanka (LSASL) is the controlling body for life saving in Sri Lanka, affiliated to the International Life Saving Federation (ILS), Commonwealth Royal Life Saving (UK) and International Maritime Rescue Federation (UK). The LSASL is registered with the ministry sports, Health and Disaster Management of Sri Lanka.
