Overview

Bollywood Bollywood dancing is a colorful, dynamic and highly theatrical dance style, It combines classical forms of dance including traditional Indian, folk, salsa, belly-dance while also incorporating more contemporary western forms such as hip hop, jazz and funk. Traditional Sri Lankan The kandyan dance is highly sophisticated and refined. It flourished under the Kandyan kings from the 16th through the 19th centuries, and today is the national dance of Sri Lanka. Contemporary Contemporary is an important genre of dance performed in societies around the world, celebrated by people both young and old. Developed during the 20th century, contemporary dance involves incorporating aspects of movement from several other genres such as jazz, modern and ballet. Prashadi Dance Academy was founded in 2008 to increase the dancing talents of the Sri Lankan youth. We always offer the customize training plans for each student in the practices.
