Subjects / courses and educational qualifications

Grades 1 to 5 classes are conducted at Nawala, Rajagiriya. The Campus at Thalawathugoda holds classes from Grades 6 to 13 (A/L). The Campus spreads over 9 acres of greenery which can accommodate over 5000 students in an eco-friendly environment. It is equipped with a play ground, Basketball, Netball, Tennis courts and Cricket nets. For the benefit of pragmatic and farsighted parents in Kalutara district, we have made arrangements to open a school in Nagoda, Kalutara. The same program of work that is adopted in Vidura College Colombo is offered in this school. Vidura College - Colombo is a pioneering private National school guided by the Buddhist philosophy teaching the national curriculum in the English medium to take up examinations conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka under the of Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka. The unique characteristic of Vidura is its culture. Vidura upholds the cultural traditions of Sri Lanka maintaining a balance between the medium English, Sinhala and Tamil. Its curriculum is built around strict discipline and personality development in demand in the world of work. Thus, the mission of the school is to lead the child to a competitive world of work. The School was conceived after an educational and market survey conducted in 1998 and it was decided to locate the school in Sri Jayawardhanapura, Kotte, the home for a large population of educationally enlightened parents.
