I teach Cambridge and Edexcel Law at AS & A2 levels, with a strong focus on conceptual clarity, exam technique, and past paper mastery. My classes are carefully structured to help students understand law in a simple, logical, and exam-oriented manner, even if they are studying the subject for the first time. Subjects Covered Edexcel - underlying English legal system Law in action Cambridge English legal system Criminal law Contract law Tort law These subjects are taught in line with the latest Cambridge and Edexcel syllabi, ensuring students are fully prepared for both theoretical understanding and application-based exam questions. Teaching Approach My teaching method is student-centred and exam-focused. Complex legal concepts are broken down into simple language, supported by real-life examples and case law explanations. Each lesson includes: • Clear explanations of legal principles • Structured lecture notes and revision materials • Guided tutorials and practice questions • Past paper discussions using the IRAC method (Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion) • Continuous exam technique guidance based on examiner expectations I place strong emphasis on answer structure, legal reasoning, and time management, which are essential for achieving high grades in law examinations. Individual Attention & Small Groups Classes are conducted in small batches to ensure every student receives individual attention. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and I regularly monitor their progress to address weaknesses early. Student Support Students are provided with ongoing academic support, including: • Doubt-clearing sessions during class • Additional clarification physically and over the phone • Guidance on exam stress management and revision planning This support system helps students stay confident and well-prepared throughout the course.
