Foundation in Health Sciences Foundation in Health Sciences program is designed to prepare students with essential skills for higher education in healthcare. Upon successful completion, you are positioned to advance your journey with UOW Malaysia Higher National Diploma in Nursing (NVQ 6) The three-year programme where students follow the NVQ level 6 Nursing curriculum approved by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).Upon the completion of this program, students will have the opportunity to apply for employment at Asiri Port City Hospital. Caregiver Certificate (NVQ 4) We offer nationally accredited modules in the Caregiver program to ensure that students are given adequate knowledge and skills to be a qualified and competent caregiver. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (NVQ 6) This nationally recognized program is offered to students who have completed the NVQ Level 4 or have 3 passes in GCE Advanced Level and wish to pursue a career as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Phlebotomy Certificate Program (NVQ 3) The NVQ 3 Phlebotomy program offered by AAHS is a 3 month certificate course which ill give students skills and knowledge to work in the health care setting as a competent phlebotomist. Medical Laboratory Assistant (NVQ 3) The Medical Laboratory Assistant program (NVQ 3) is a 3 month short course which will give students the knowledge and skills to support Medical Laboratory Technicians in the Lab environment. Diploma in Nursing This program encouraged the development of the knowledge, skills and professional attitudes of a registered nurse. You will be exposed to the concepts of health promotion, prevention and rehabilitation through nursing care management. Diploma in Physiotherapy Our Diploma in Physiotherapy program offers comprehensive training in the field of physiotherapy, providing students with the knowledge and hands-on skills to become proficient healthcare professionals.
