Our Service Provision Today Today we provide support, training and care for children and young adults with a learning disability and their families in our training centres in Tudella (Ja-Ela) and in Negombo. Our Day To Day Training Programs Consist Of Literacy/Numeracy, Health & Hygiene, Music & Dance, Social Skills Self-help Skills, Hand-eye Coordination, Handicrafts, Cooking, Speech Therapy & Physiotherapy, Swimming, Vocational Training, Computer Education/Training, Home-making and Home-sharing Skills Training & Community Integration Programs ….etc. Every year we organize a number of events to create greater public awareness and promote a better understanding of people with a learning disability. These events include: Annual Sports Meet Way of Cross’ Celebration Sinhala & Tamil New Year Celebration Vesak Celebration Public Exhibitions Christmas Celebration / Annual Concert Annual Thanksgiving Mass Staff training and work shops Parents awareness program Participating in events to which we are invited by other organizations. The Brothers of Charity Services provide professional support to a number of other organizations, including the provision of a number of staff training opportunities. Since 2012 we have been providing a series of Parents’ Awareness and Education programs. --
