Occupational Therapy Programme We have expertise to treat ASD, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Downs Syndrome and related issues through the techniques of occupational therapy at our first ever state of the art Occupational therapy centre in Sri Lanka. All the Therapists who work at CDH are Medical Council Certified. They conduct both the Assessments and Therapy Programs Speech Therapy Speech therapy is an intervention service that focuses on improving a child’s speech and abilities to understand & express language. We, as speech therapists can help your child with speech delays & disorders, language delays & disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, swallowing disorders & feeding problems, cognitive- communicative disorders…etc. Special Need Education Programme We provide customized educational program conducted by a qualified occupational therapist for kids who have poor sitting tolerance, short attention span and also focusing on fine motor coordination, pencil grasp, handwriting and various other table top activities. Goals put forward by the child/parent are prioritized. Physiotherapy Program Physiotherapy treatment is to reduce pain and maintain the optimal physical functioning. A wide range of non-pharmacological treatments will be given by the physiotherapist including manual therapies, electrophysical agents, thermotherapy, hydrotherapy and graded exercises. Children Discovery House is a registered charity to help children with learning difficulties due to poor sensory issues or conditions such as ADHD & Autism
