විෂයයන් පාඨමාලා සහ අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම්

The Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka offers an expanding range of postgraduate programmes, including taught Masters, MPhil and PhD research degrees as well as short courses in Molecular Life Sciences. IBMBB is the only Sri Lankan institute dedicated to postgraduate training and human resource development in Molecular Life Sciences. These programmes give the students the opportunity to carry out individual mentored research projects in the context of cutting-edge research and development in Biological Sciences and Plant Molecular Biology. IBMBB conducts three Master of Science programmes which have a taught component and a research component. These include MSc in Molecular Life Sciences, MSc in Cellular and Molecular Immunology which are of three semester duration and MSc in Bioinformatics which is of four semester duration. These are full time fee-leviying courses. MPhil/PhD programmes based on research programmes conducted at the IBMBB are also full time courses. Short courses include a Certificate Course in Molecular Biological Techniques, Certificate Course in Cell Culture Techniques, Workshops in HPLC and Separation Techniques, Certificate Course in Immunological Techniques, and Workshops on Bioinformatics Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IBMBB) was ceremonially opened on 28th April 2004 by the Swedish Ambassador in Sri Lanka and Prof. Ulf Pettersson, Vice-Rector, University of Uppsala, Sweden. The building is located in the main campus of the University of Colombo.The IBMBB was established by a soft loan provided by the Swedish Development Agency(SIDA) as an expansion activity of capacity building in Biotechnology supported by SAREC.

ආයතනය ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ වසර ගණන: අවුරුදු 7 සිට 10 දක්වා

පවත්වනු ලබන පන්ති වර්ග:

  • මධ්‍යම ප්‍රමාණයේ කණ්ඩායම් පන්ති (සිසුන් 10 සිට 20 දක්වා)
  • විශාල ප්‍රමාණයේ කණ්ඩායම් පන්ති (සිසුන් 20 ට වැඩි)
