Of course you can. We learn till we die. And there are no age limits to almost all educational examinations either here in Sri Lanka or overseas. All that is needed will be your commitment to hard work and your perseverance, whatever be the obstacles that may come your way. Good luck to all with a thirst for knowledge!

As per the law relating to Sri Lanka, there is no age barrier which deters you from doing so. This would follow the same if you're following a external/overseas curriculum on Edexcel or Cambridge. Although, it must be noted that there is an age norm expecting candidates to be in their teenage years, but it is not and should not, be a hindrance to your aspirations of studies. https://www.quora.com/Is-there-an-upper-age-limit-for-the-IGCSE-O-levels-AS-levels-and-A-levels-as-a-private-candidate The above link may give you a view from an international student who has had the same query as you. Hope that helps :)

It isn't a matter of doing either O/L or A/L after the school going age. What one should do is to pursue something that is suitable for the person depending on one's experience and preference.
