We are looking for a Lecturer Robotics
Join our academic team and inspire the next generation of robotics and automation professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and hands-on practical sessions in Robotics and related areas.
- Teach and support modules including:
Introduction to Robotics
Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems
Arduino and Raspberry Pi
Sensors and Actuators
Control Systems
Artificial Intelligence for Robotics
Robotics Programming using Python and C/C++
Automation and related technologies
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory exercises, assessments and other learning resources.
- Design and deliver practical, project-based learning activities using real-world robotics applications.
- Supervise student projects and provide academic and technical guidance.
- Support students in developing their technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to curriculum development, programme improvement, assessments and other academic activities.
- Stay current with emerging developments in robotics, automation, AI, embedded systems and related technologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues on academic and industry-related initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of robotics systems, automation, embedded systems and programming.
Practical experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators and microcontrollers.
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
Knowledge of control systems and AI applications in robotics will be an advantage.
Previous teaching, training, research or industry experience in robotics or a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage students through hands-on and project-based learning.
